Jewish Mindfulness Meditation with Fran Zamore and Friends

Please join us every Tuesday between Pesach and Shavuot to meditate on a different sefira from the Kabbalah Tree of Life. This Kabbalistic custom transforms the counting of the Omer into a practice of meaningful introspection to prepare us to be able to most fully receive the wisdom of Torah. No prior knowledge of meditation or the sefirot is necessary. The schedule is as follows:

4/11: Chesed/Love, Compassion
4/18: Gevurah/Strength, Discernment
4/25: Tiferet/Balance
5/02: Netzach/Energy, Endurance
5/09: Hod/Presence, Gratitude
5/15: Yesod/Foundation, Connection
5/23: Malchut/Divine Presence

As in our regular sessions, this offering is appropriate to people new to meditation as well as experienced meditators. In the first 30 minutes, Fran will offer a short drash, followed by a period of meditation. After our meditation, those who are able and interested stay online for a discussion, which ends by 11:55 and is followed by Mourner’s Kaddish. The meditations are recorded, the discussion is not. Please come when you are able — this drop-in offering has no strings attached!
