with Rabbi Scott Perlo

Wednesdays at Noon on Zoom

Step into The Rabbi’s Study, a weekly gathering where participants join Rabbi Scott for an intimate and in-depth exploration of the Torah portion that will inspire his upcoming Shabbat drash (sermon). If you’d like to read the weekly Torah portion prior to the class, Sefaria is a great resource.

Reconstructing Creativity

Third Thursdays of each month, 7:30 pm

Using the Jewish Studio Process, we’ll explore Jewish and secular texts and then experiment with whatever materials you have on hand – pencils, crayons, watercolor paints, etc. – to discover new meaning in what’s around us. You don’t need to “be artistic” to participate.

Adat Shalom Israel/Palestine Shared Learning (התלמדות) Group

Monthly on Saturdays during Oneg

On March 1, the Adat Shalom Israel/Palestine Shared Learning Group will meet in the library during oneg to discuss the documentary, “Israelism”.

This group has been formed with the mission of learning together in order to deepen our historical and cultural understanding of the traumas, histories, and lived experiences of Israelis and Palestinians. We explore books (fiction and nonfiction), movies, and other forms of media in order to guide our learning.

Study group members are invited to meet in the library after gathering food in the social hall.
