Jewish spirituality manifests in many ways — three great ones are Hassidut, a rich mystical and ecstatic path, which emerged in the 18th century; Mussar, with ethics and personal growth at the center of Jewish life, which crystallized as a movement in the 19th century; and Jewishly-inspired activism, or “applied spirituality”, known also in the 20th and 21st centuries as tikkun olam.

Rabbi David Jaffe is a leading expositor of all three.  And our time with him on March 19th will feature all of these themes, intertwined as they are, as only Rabbi Jaffe can weave them together.  David is the author of the widely-acclaimed Changing the World from the Inside Out, which is optional but deeply enriching advance reading.
