Once upon a time, we realized that we just didn’t have enough seats for the High Holy Days as we had people who wanted to sit in them. This is a good problem for a synagogue to have, but still – a challenge. So we got creative: we decided to use all of our beautiful campus so that every single person can be at home at Adat Shalom these High Holy Days.
This year, Adat Shalom has two major service offerings for the High Holy Days:
Each is a full High Holy Day service in its own right, catering to different needs, connected by a common Adat Shalom style and ethos.
Rabbi Scott will be giving his drashot (sermons) in both services.
He’ll spend much of his prayer time supporting the Ohel service.
Each member in good standing receives a ticket to High Holiday Services
For Example: If you have 4 people in your membership family, you receive 4 tickets to Rosh Hashanah, 4 to Kol Nidre and 4 to Yom Kippur.
*People inside a family membership are limited to immediate family. (Head of Household, Spouse and Children ages 25 and under)

We are offering RH+KN+YK for $180 for all three. If you join Adat Shalom by November 30, 2024, we will deduct the ticket price from membership dues.
All Guests 25 & Under are Free
Miss Ellie will be leading Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services for young families
9:30am – Elementary Kids, K-2
10:30am – Tots Under 5
Due to the large number of people who join us for the Yamim Noraim, Parking will be limited onsite at Adat Shalom.
Please use the ticketing form to reserve parking at Adat Shalom, and at the two offsite locations, Carderock Elementary School (10 minute walk) and The Carderock Pool (15 minute walk)
We will be providing babysitting for kids age 2-7 on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Sign up on the form, and we will reach out with more details.
We will be streaming out Bayit (House) Services.
Members will be sent links for all services.
