Taste of Shabbat

Reserve now to enjoy a relaxed, delicious, catered Israeli-style Taste of Shabbat dinner with Adat Shalomers and guests, as part of our Yom HaAtzmaut celebration. The date is Friday, May 13, 2016. The cost of the catered dinner is $25 per person, children 12 and under eat free.

In observance of Shabbat, money is not accepted at the door. Of course, no reservation or payment is required for attending services only, and everyone is welcome to join us for dessert, learning, and the music program.

No one will be turned away for financial reasons. If you need financial assistance to attend the event, please contact Marla Cohen, Executive Director at 301-767-3333 ext. 107

All reservations must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016.

2) Call the Taste of Shabbat Line at 301/767-3333 ext. 561 & leave a message clearly stating your name and the number of attendees (number of adults and number of children, if any); then send in your check to the Adat Shalom office (or pay by credit card by filling out the credit card information and mailing/FAXing this form).

Then send a check payable to Adat Shalom, to the Adat Shalom office, with Taste of Shabbat in the memo line. The cost is $25 for adults and teens, children 12 and under eat free.

Shalom Rav

Click here for a musical setting of Shalom Rav that Hazzan Rachel wrote with Steve Neugeboren, which was included in the 2011 Shalshelet Festival in New York. Steve is playing guitar throughout and singing harmony, as is Noah Guthman.
