Adat Shalom Dedicated Funds
Adat Shalom offers a number of contribution opportunities. Please indicate which fund your contribution is for:
Clergy Discretionary Funds
These funds are an appropriate way to say “thank you” to the clergy for services rendered. Funds may be used to give tzedakah to worthy causes and/or supplement Adat Shalom programs and initiatives. The funds may also be used for Financial support to families needing temporary help and also to sponsor youth to attend trips, conclaves, and summer camps. Contributions are appreciated to Rabbi Fred’s or Hazzan Rachel’s discretionary fund.
Other Discretionary Funds:
Jewish Studies Fund for continuing and comprehensive Jewish education at Adat Shalom.
Joel Kaufman Memorial Library Fund for the purchase of books and other media and materials for Adat Shalom’s Library in accordance with the Library’s mission.
Social Action Fund for social action programs, including tikkun olam, environmental and social services.
Green Fund for initiatives whose clear and primary purpose is to care for, sustain, and improve the environment.
Kulanu Fund for supporting programs and accommodations which foster inclusion and provide ease of access and participation in the Adat Shalom community for all persons including those with disabilities.
Chesed/Breman Fund for cards, books, pamphlets, meals of consolation, etc. for congregants who are ill, grieving, or welcoming a new child and for support of a pastoral counselor.
Ritual Fund for the purchase or repair of Torah scrolls and various ritual related items; for the purchase of prayer books and Chumashim.
Torah School Fund for the purchase of materials for teachers, audio-visual aids, and books for the Torah School library.
Camp Scholarship Fund for scholarships for Adat Shalom youth attending approved residential Jewish summer camps in the United States.
Daniel Thursz Youth Fund for support of Adat Shalom teens attending Jewish programs, including but not limited to Israel Quest, Panim el Panim, JRF youth conferences, and summer camps.
Haiti Fund for support of the Nouvelle Institution Chretienne de Leogane (NICL) and the work of its founder and director, Pastor Johnny Felix. If you would like to make a formal pledge to the Haiti Project, click here for a description and a ilnk to the pledge form.

In addition, please let us know if you wish your donation to be noted in honor of a person or occasion or in memory of a person.
